Women Rising
from Trauma
"Courage starts with showing up
and letting ourselves be seen."
– Brené Brown
Women Rising from Trauma, led by Sherry, is a supportive and empowering group designed to help women who have experienced trauma find healing and resilience. The group provides a safe space where women can connect, share their stories, and support each other in their healing journeys. With a trauma-informed approach, the group ensures that every participant feels heard, respected, and safe. Women will learn practical skills, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to challenge negative thought patterns, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to improve emotional regulation and mindfulness, and Seeking Safety skills to manage triggers and create safety in their lives. The group's goal is to foster a sense of empowerment, healing, and community, offering women the tools they need to navigate the emotional, physical, and mental impacts of trauma. Women of all backgrounds who are seeking connection, support, and tools for recovery are welcome to join!
