Art Based Mental Health Therapy Group
No art or creative experience needed,
come as you are.
It will be about the process, not the product!
Welcome to SoulFuel: A Creative Connection Group for Burnout & Stress led by Claire LeMoine! I know the grind culture of today’s society can take a toll on our mental health and well-being. In this space, we will connect with each other and focus on the transformative power of creativity!
This group is designed to provide a safe, supportive environment for self-expression and healing through art and creativity. Art therapy offers more than just making art—it's a powerful therapeutic process that allows individuals to explore thoughts, feelings, and experiences that may be difficult to express with words.
Together, we’ll use art materials and guided discussions as tools for reflection, discovery, and connection. Each session integrates evidence-based approaches to support mental health stabilization, enhance self-awareness, and move toward a more fulfilling and balanced life.
Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, emotionally drained, or disconnected from yourself, this group is here to support you. Join us as we reconnect to creativity, community, and the parts of ourselves that need the most care. You don’t need to be an artist—just come as you are. Let’s create healing together!
Please note you must sign up below, this group is sign up only.

This group is designed for adults and young adults who are feeling overwhelmed, burned out, or disconnected from themselves. It’s a supportive space for anyone needing a reset—to pause, breathe, and reconnect with what truly matters. Whether you're navigating stress, life transitions, or simply craving more balance, this group is here to help you prioritize your well-being and reclaim your energy.
-
Attending all sessions is not required. It is not required that you are in individual therapy, though it is encouraged that you have outside support of some kind to process any discoveries that may arise in group therapy.
-
At the beginning of each group session, we will kick things off with a short introduction, allowing everyone to become acquainted and comfortable in the space. Following that, we will engage in a skill-building segment where you will learn practical techniques to enhance your mental health and well-being. This can include mindfulness exercises, relaxation techniques, cognitive strategies, or any other valuable skills.
Next, we will dive into the heart of the group, centered around an artistic theme designed to spark introspection and self-expression. Each session will present a thought-provoking prompt such as "create a piece that embodies fears related to your past" or "create a piece that demonstrates how you show up in the world versus how you internally see yourself." These themes will inspire deep reflection and encourage you to explore your emotions, experiences, and inner world through art.
To facilitate your creative journey, we will provide a wide array of art supplies, including paint, watercolor, markers, stickers, washi tape, magazines, and more. You will have complete freedom to express yourself using whichever materials resonate with you the most. Whether you prefer to engage in conversation or embrace silent creativity, you can enjoy the company and support of others in the group.
Finally, we will conclude the session with an optional sharing period where you can choose to discuss your artistic creation and its personal significance. This sharing is a chance to connect with others, gain insights from different perspectives, and deepen the therapeutic experience. However, participation in sharing is entirely voluntary, and you are welcome to simply enjoy the process of creating without the pressure of discussing your artwork.
Through this transformative group format, we aim to provide a nurturing space for personal exploration, self-discovery, and the healing power of art. It's an opportunity to connect with others, embrace your creativity, and gain valuable insights along your journey.

This group is a self-pay, sliding-scale group with a rate of $25-$55. This is a new offering we are trying. Our sliding scale is designed to make our services more accessible while honoring the value of the work and the varied financial situations of our community. When you sign up, you will choose the amount that feels most aligned with your current resources. No proof of finances is needed. I trust you to choose the rate that’s right for you—no questions asked. This system works best when everyone contributes honestly and generously within their means. Thank you for helping make our work sustainable and accessible!
Please note: If you choose a sliding scale rate, we would love it if you could contribute some form of art supplies to the group (paper, magazines, glue, markers, paintbrushes, etc.). This can be old art supplies from your house or something you get at Walmart or the dollar store. Having donations of supplies also allows us to continue the work and serve our community.

Sometimes I spend all day trying to count the leaves on a single tree... Of course I have to give up, but by then I'm half crazy with the wonder of it--the abundance of the leaves, the quietness of the branches, the hopelessness of my effort. And I am in that delicious and important place, roaring with laughter, full of earth-praise.
